Working like a dog? My dog's never worked an honest day in his life.
When's he last time he was up till two in the morning sweating a deadline?

Lawn Mower = Zen

Some of my best ideas come to me while I'm cutting the yard.

Where do you find your moments of Zen?

Step 1). Brainstorming

Here's my tip of the day. The most important part of every project is brainstorming. Find a quiet spot to be alone with your thoughts each day. Start with 20 minutes. If 20 minutes turns into 30 or 40 great but make sure you get at least 20 to yourself.

If you've never done this before you might feel silly or fidgety at first. That's okay. Eventually it will pass and this will become the best part of your day. Make sure you find a spot where you will not be interrupted or disturbed and guard this time... it's yours.

Bring a note pad with you. When you are done write down your thoughts. If you don't have any thoughts, that's fine. It may take a little practice to find your focus. The idea is to allow your mind to run freely without the clutter of the rest of your day.
