Long Drive

Wow I really hate the long drive. I'm good for two hours tops...anything more than that and forget it.

Some days I wish I could just lie in bed and be sick but I hardly ever do.

Tired...

Sometimes being a freelancer and having flexible hours is the greatest thing in the world...but not tonight.

Clearing out the deadwood this week. Might need to get a bigger chainsaw....

Thwock!!! Tennis ball to the Head.

Okay so remember the men's league tennis I signed up for.... the one I promised to fill you in on it when I got back from vacation. Well here's how it went. Since I'm not much of a tennis player I'd anticipated being the worst guy there. What I hadn't anticipated was how much more advanced these guys turned out to be. Don't get me wrong they were a great bunch of guys but this was definitely not the beginners night out. So I'm spending my evening trying hard not to suck. For a little while I'm almost able to fake it. Except I don't really know all the rules and have trouble keeping track of the score....so about half way through our match I'm hitting all the loose balls back over the net so the other players can serve...not really paying close attention I look up just as I hear a"THWOK". Turns out I accidentally hit one of the other guys in the head with the ball. A shot I couldn't have made in a million years. Hilarious if I had known the guy...not as funny if your trying to make a good first impression.... Oh well there's always racket ball.

Caught a flouder.

Beach has been great. Tomorrow it's back to real life.
